Writing letters is the main mission of our organization. Letters are the best ways to boost soldiers' morale and help them overcome the lack of outside connection while being in the military. We hope to set up multiple letter stations in places like fast-food restaurants, airports, and common public places for people to take their time to support the hard-working veterans out there.
The DIY Frosting is an event where volunteers help bake and frost cookies in creative ways to show support for veterans. Volunteers can frost cookies in any shape they would like, with a message that would impact soldiers in positive ways. We will send these cookies along with letters to veteran hospitals as well as military bases.
One of the most enjoyed activities for veterans is to read books in their free times. We thought, why not make the activity a little more enjoyable by creating a meaningful bookmark with words of encouragement?
